Welcome! I am a dedicated Clinical Social Worker with five years of experience in mental health, specializing in the integration of neuroplasticity principles into therapeutic practices. Erin Whiteside
I am Erin Whiteside, Registered Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). I completed my undergraduate Psychology degree at University of Alberta and then my graduate work in Speech Language Pathology at Kent State University in Ohio. Throughout my career, I have focused on assessment and treatment work with children aged 0-18 in the areas of language, articulation, phonology, pragmatics, motor planning, and fluency. I have a special passion for “late talkers” but have worked with children with many unique gifts and challenges (autism, childhood apraxia of speech, cleft palate, hearing loss to name a few). I am a Hanen Certified SLP which means that I have specialized training with early language skills. I have also completed some extra training for Childhood Apraxia of Speech.
